Lawmakers consider upgrading Oklahoma's meth registry -- Oklahoma lawmakers are discussing the possibility of updating the state’s methamphetamine registry to make it easier to look up information on people convicted of cooking the drug.

The state may soon take steps to make its registry of methamphetamine offenders as comprehensive as its sex offender registry. At a Wednesday interim study on the costs and effects of methamphetamine use in Oklahoma, state Rep. Sean Roberts, R-Hominy, asked an official from the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drug Control why those convicted of cooking the drug were not easier to locate online.
