My ex husband has been at clinton for 13 years, came out on parole in 2012, went right back in 1week later, he stated he feels safer in there then on the streets. So much for reformed. Very sad, we were together since I was 16 I did four bids with him, with his daughter. Sad,my daughter at 21 will never truly have a dad.

Linda

Hi I sent a package to my son and found out the that union supply send the items and if they are not allowed at the facility the inmate can DONATE the items or send the home or back to Union Supply at the inmates cost. The facility has the option to ask Union Supply to send the faciltiy return postage labels at no cost to the inmate or the facility. The facility chooses to pass the cost onto the inmate. They make sure they use a well OVERSIZED box so the cost us outragous. I know from many times of shipping items and to me that prceedure would be considered high way robbery. It cost him $17.00 to return items that would have cost him nothing if a phone call to the company asking for a number of return labels be sent for futue items.

that is too bad, i completed an internship in the annex myself and found it to be an amazing educational experience and it helped shape my eventual interest in working in the field, though with juveniles. i hope you made people there aware of your feelings

PEACE

I have had a family member in a NYS medium prison, and I cannot believe the corruption that goes on between a few goverment employees (C.O's) and certain inmates - all for the dirty money! The Law causing conflict between inmates. I thought that was against the law? What a joke! Wow, inmates can't whisper a word, and some live in FEAR under the protection of the state. What a nightmare for some that don't belong amongst the violent. Gang losers and perverts! I pray for protection for all the ones who are trying to do their time peacefully. Someone should write a book on corruption behind the state walls for all the inmates that had feared for their life!

I am from ohio and my husband is serving a year at noble. I know that is not a lot of time but it is for us. My husband grew pot plants in a spare room and because a light was on the town officer used binoculars to look in our upstairs window. My husband had kidney cancer and had lost 60 pounds and we thought that it would give him appetite. Well it did and he gained the strength to go though his surgery.

We are seniors and I had a stroke a year ago and we needed to watch each other to help get around. This was his first offense and he never took it outside our home. We never had company so no one knew it was there. On top of the year he got 5000 dollar fine and 1 year drivers suspension.

I know this is off the subject but i needed to talk to someone. I am not sugarcoating this in any way. It was non viloent and his charge was cultivation. thank you for listening.

Flaco

"Well I didn t do time up North, I started in youth offender Hendry CI in Florida, and there was this time that I was betting with another inmate; his name was Cody and what happened was he and I were playing games because he knew that I didn t know that he was supposed to be released the next day. At first he was winning by a lot and he was like, you going to get my shit today? and running his mouth like he was a bad ass. Then we went in for count.

When we came back out we started again and this time I won everything I lost and won some by the end of the night I was somewhat happy that Cody had to pay me like $35 which in prison every penny counts. When I went in for bed time I told my roommate about the good luck that I just had and my roommate told me that Cody was going to be released the next day so I got mad because this guy just played me and the way he was putting pressure on me that got to me, I could barely sleep that night. The next day after breakfast I saw him still there it appeared that he had lost some gain time and didn t get release. Now I m trying to get mines and I returned the pressure that he had on me. Night time is the last time of the day that we have to do our things like shower, make call, watch TV etc...

Instead of doing any of these things I wanted my money so I was with Cody walking with him while he s gathering my shit he gathered about half of what he owed me and by this time he s getting kind of loud because his friends were backing him up now, telling him not to give me shit. Me and my friend were aware of what was going on and they were ready to pop it off because of all the shit they were saying and it was like 30 minutes for us to be in lockdown for the night. To make a long story short, Cody kept talking shit and refused to get mines and by this time I was tired of listening to him talk shit and I hit him upside his head with a lock and belt. There was blood everywhere and all over me and some of my friends because he throw himself on us.

The officers came and we all tried to get out of the wing but couldn t. Some went to the showers to wash the blood off. I went in my old room and flushed my t-shirt down the toilet because it was full of Cody s blood but that didn t help because we all got picked up and we all went to confinement. I did like 60 days in the hole for that because they couldn t prove that I was the one that hit him on the head with that lock...

I bet you Cody learned a lesson if he didn t he still will remember me for the rest of his life.... "
