I went there a few times in the 90's. It was not bad, not good, but overall, not bad. There were a few different blocks. Robson was for the remand cases, Black Rock was for the bad ass people, Kitchiner was for suicide watch, Castle was for the brods, and I can't remember the unit for the skinners.
Life in the Jr. joint was boring and uneventful. Staff were dinks, and the kids thought they were bad asses like Manson.
