still thinking of your words of wisdom think 33 were are your excellent storys i know there true because i and a lot pf people have been there and i understand stony and every other prison are run by people who dip into the funds i truly believe that belong to the inmates and they just want all inmates to go without to make life even more shity than what they have to go through now what can be done they need a good clean up of the system because the way i hear its run from gents who just got out and the storys they tell me are truly unreal the way its run now wow blows my mind

Of course it is always someone else's fault. How about some accountability on the inmate's part? Remember, we did something to someone else to get there. As soon as you stop making excuses for yourself the better off you'll be. Worked for me.

No problem big les. I'm white also. I studied so much and learned how the systems really work, it made me sleepless. Racism is just a divide and conquer tactic to keep us fighting amongst one another so we don't catch on to what the elite is really doing. They think of all of us, no matter what colour as animals. Sorry this isn't about prison. I know their tactics. The rich look down on the poor, one race against another. They have robbed more people than any of the biggest bank jobs or armored car heists on Earth. You ever notice how a diddler will get a slap on the wrist, and a bank robber 10 years. Message don't screw with our money. Sorry this isn't about prison, man people have got to wake up. I thought I had but the more you know the less you know. happy New year. My one dream, which will never happen in my life time is that if we ALL said no in unison. No we won't, but then screw it, they know our subconscious minds too well and we won't change them because we are too conditioned. I've lost faith in humankind, not because I don't love them, I just don't like how we are being played be it in prison or out.

I'll make this short. I see boots on the face for everyone for regular Joe Blow's but the rich bankers and as I said the elite. There are more of us than them, yet we to listen to what they say. Wait till they take money out of the equation, then they can freeze anything you have. They want revolution so they can kick our asses. No revolution just happened that wasn't planned by the elite. Did you know big business supported Hitler in the 2 world war and made money off the people in the camps. Anyway, I gottta go. Thanks, Peace and all the good stuff.

This isn't about Stoney per se, but woman have it even worse if they have a criminal record. Men might help a guy who did a little time, but be a woman who has a record, (it was for petty stuff, like taking a pack of hamburger) when there was no money and kids to feed. Well good luck because E-Fry in Manitoba does nothing. I don't know how they are even given money to run. A few years ago I look up the minutes from the General Annual Meeting Minutes, and some staff members had stolen over $200,000.00 and their solution was that all staff members were going to have to pay it back to E-Fry. How come they don't get a criminal record, yet if it was any man or woman they would be charged. The board at E-Fry think inmates are scum.

I used to be the prison wife who would get a ride any way I could to see my old man in Stony before they shipped him away to Edmonton Max. I'm not going to mention any names but the whole system sinks to high heaven.

One sad thing is some women go to jail when it is close to winter if they don't have a home, because they will be out of the cold and have the 3 hots and a cot. When did we start being okay with so many people being homeless. And the citizens who don't happen to break the law for whatever reason, this may sound like a conspiracy theorists' paranoia, but things coming down the road for the majority of people won't be good. I don't know why we don't stand up with one another. Native, white, whatever color. We shouldn't be afraid of the government, they should be afraid of us. Oh never mind, I probably won't reach anyone. Any women and men who are sincere, do you want to put our heads together and figure out how we can get people employed who have records, as long as they are not violent or perverts. My heart goes out to each and every inmate in any jail in the world, who do what they did just to make due. I could go on and on. I hate prisons, sad thing is once they get closed down, many of them become tourists attractions. What kind of sicko would want to pay to go to a jail where they is allot of pain, tears, death and loneliness? Go buy a chocolate bar. Any one of you could have ended up in the joint, you just got lucky. Not saying we are't responsible for what we do, but the book should be over once you have paid your so called debt to society.Sorry for the rant but this is something that really irks me to no end. Peace and Happy New Year if anyone is inside or recently released or long ago released. May life work out for you.
