University of Rhode Island Change Assessment Questionnaire: Alcohol

The University of Rhode Island Change Assessment Questionnaire: Alcohol measures the degree to which an individual might successfully complete an alcohol abuse treatment program. It has shown good reliability in various studies and remains a good predictor of treatment retention, dropout, and outcome. Each statement below describes how a person might feel when starting therapy. Indicate the extent to which you agree or disagree with each statement. Circle your choice in terms of how you feel right now, not how you have felt in the past or would like to feel. The word “problem” refers to a “drinking problem”, and the words “here” and “this place” refer to your treatment center.

1) As far as I’m concerned, I don’t have any problems that need changing.
