I HAVE A SON THAT HAS A LIFE/WO PAROLE SENTENCE IN THE STSTE OF ARKANSAS FOR A CRIME THAT HE DID NOT COMMIT, AND JUST THE THOUGHT OF THIS KILLS ME EACH AND EVERY DAY. FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO MUST INDURE SUCH CRUEL PUNISHMENT, MY HEART JUST BREAKS. I ALSO HAVE A GRANDSON, MY ONLY GRANDSON, IN PRISON FOR LIFE, ALSO WITHOUT PAROLE. HE IS T HE THE NORTH CAROLINA PRISON SYSTEM, HE HAS BEEN THERE SINCE HE WAS 17 YEARS OLD, HE IS MOW A 30 YEAR OLD MAN. IT IS MY PRAYER THAT WHEN EVER PRISONERS ARE RELEASED, PLEASE DO YOUR BEST TO STAY OUT OF TROUBLE WITH THE LAW.

Looking for a picture of my Great Grandfather who was in Joliet Prison in the early 1900's. He died there in Sept 1905. He was sentenced to 20 yrs for murder I think in 1903.

Un lugar horrible con la sensación de que ha sido metidas en un armario, por supuesto sin ventana y estar con la persona que echa pedos cada veinte minutos-en-el-minuto es una pesadilla. Yo estaba en el tercer piso y mi (nuestro) wc no lave hasta 2 1/2 horas pasadas, porque el 15-min temporizador válvula estaba roto, por tanto, el olor era me náuseas. Los guardias no son en absoluto agradable y que no tome pide ni se le hablan a uno solo calma y mierda ladrillos, usted está atascado en una celda con el madre chingado asesino, demasiado feo. En la ducha la agua es tan caliente que las escaldaduras. La ducha es sólo una vez a la semana. El telefono no puede estar usado a menos que ya tendrias su multidÃgitos que identifica a ti TU a una a semana.

A horrible place with a feeling that you've been stuffed in a closet, of course without a window and being with a person who farts every twenty minutes-on-the-minute is a nightmare. I was on the third floor and my (our) toilet would not flush until 2 1/2 hours passed, because the 15-min. timer valve was broken, so the smell was gagging me. The guards are NOT nice AT ALL and they do not take requests nor will they talk to you, just shut up and shit bricks, your stuck in a cell with a gangster murderer, too bad.
