The Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT) is used in primary health care settings to measure the early detection of hazardous and harmful alcohol consumption in the general population. It is a 10-item questionnaire covering the various domains of alcohol consumption, drinking behaviour, and alcohol-related problems. It was developed by a 6-country WHO project and has demonstrated good reliability in validation studies.
